The approximate fee for medical interpretation for a single consultation ranges from ¥19,800 to ¥26,400.
For more extensive appointments, such as comprehensive medical checkups or cancer screenings that take half a day to a full day, the fee ranges from ¥26,400 to ¥52,800.
The fees differ depending on whether the appointment is in the morning, afternoon, or spans four hours including the lunch period.

(Example Fees) For clinics located in central Tokyo
For a standard medical visit (from reception to consultation and payment, approximately 1.25 hours), the fee is 19,800 yen (tax included).
Second opinions cost 26,400 yen. Since second-opinion consultations often take longer than a regular appointment, even if the hospital says the consultation may take up to one hour, the total time from reception to payment (including obtaining prescriptions) often takes around three hours.
For medical checkups or comprehensive health screenings, the fees are as follows:
3 hours: 26,400 yen (tax included)
6 hours: 39,600 yen (tax included)
1 full day (8 hours): 50,600 yen (tax included)
